Rubbish disposal
Rubbish is uplifted from both Ardfern and Craobh Haven on Mondays. There is also a domestic paper collection on alternate Wednesdays.
There are recycling facilities for glass, cans, plastic bottles and fabrics in Craignish Village Hall car park and the supermarkets in Lochgilphead and Oban also have these, plus paper banks. Both Craobh and Ardfern each have a litter bin in the middle of the respective villages. Domestic rubbish may be deposited free of charge at the Civic Amenity sites at Moleigh, on the south side of Oban, and Lingerton, on the south side of Lochgilphead. Please take great care not to drop litter and if you are unable to get to a Civic Amenity site, please take your litter home with you.
